God’s Ultimate Purpose for Us

God wants us all to be fruitful – Gen 1:27-28  (An account of and the purpose for which man was created)

The will of God – The purpose for which man was created

  • To be fruitful
  • Increase in number
  • Fill the earth
  • Subdue the earth
  • Subdue it

Ultimately God will always go ahead and achieve His purpose

This is made clear in the New Testament – Colossians 1:9-12 (Every word in this prayer is positive)

God’s plan is for us to:

  • Be filled with the Knowledge of God – through all spiritual wisdom
  • Life pleasing to the Lord in every way
  • Bear fruit in every good work
  • Be strengthened with all power
  • Have Great endurance  and   patience and joy
  • Share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light

2 Peter 1:3-4 – God’s divine power has given us everything, even to escape the corruption of the world. Everything we need for life and godliness

How does this provision come?

  • Through the knowledge and Jesus Christ
  • And through His great and precious promises (in the promises in God’s word)

The Marvelous Results

We participate in the divine nature (The nature of God). We begin to share in His divine nature

We escape the corruption that is in the world caused by evil desires

If you want God’s best. He wants it for you and He have made full provision for you. He will not make the decision for you. You have to make that decision yourself.

‘I Am Who I Am’

Exodus 3:14  And God said to Moses, “I am who I am.”…

Whatever your challenge is today, whether it is physical, emotional, financial or marital, the great I Am declares to you: “I am to you what you need Me to be.”

Do you need healing? He says, “I am the Lord who heals you. (Exodus 15:26) And as you believe Me, you will see your healing manifest thirtyfold, sixtyfold and a hundredfold.”

Are you groping in the dark, not knowing what to do? He says, “I am the light of the world. (John 8:12) When you walk in Me, you will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Are you looking for a way out of a bad situation? He says, “I am your deliverer. I will reach down from on high, take hold of your hand and draw you out of the deep waters.” (Psalm 18:2, 16)

Are you wondering if there is more to life than merely existing from day to day? He says, “I am the resurrection and the life. (John 11:25) I came to give you life. And where there is life, there cannot be death. You will have life and life more abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Are you fearful of what is ahead of you? He says, “I am the good shepherd (John 10:11), who leads you to pastures of tender, green grass and waters of rest. You will not suffer lack.” (Psalm 23:1–3)

Are you confused by the opinions and reports of man? He says, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last. (Revelation 1:11) I have the final word in your life. The doctors do not have the final word. The experts do not have the final word. I have the first word and the last word in your situation.”

My friend, do not be fearful of the problems you face. The great I Am declares to you, “Fear not! For I am to you what you need Me to be!”  – (Joseph Prince)

Miracle in Mexico

Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”  John 3:14-15.

And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”  John 12:32

Let us keep our eyes on Jesus… Let us keep lifting Him up… Let us continue to do the works that Jesus did…  The Harvest is ready… The World is waiting for us!

Be encouraged by this testimony from Mexico…

One of our latest testimonies of the power of God… we have a member of the fellowship in the northeast part of Mexico that has a mechanic shop and he has 3 employees.  One afternoon, one of his employees was walking across the street and was hit by a car.

All of a sudden a crowd of people gathered and began to say, “He is dead.”  Then the Red Cross came and declared him dead.  So, the owner of the mechanic shop (a member of the fellowship) began to realize that he had been trained to use the power of God.   He then declared over this dead body to have life again and continued doing so…

A lot of people shouted at him, “let him be, he is dead.”  But, he continued and suddenly the dead man stood up and began to walk away.   Turning back, he saw the faces of a lot of people amazed because he stood up and started to walk toward the owner of the mechanic shop.

The most amazing thing about this miracle is that it was through a simple mechanic that used the special training our members receive through the Fellowship.   We are seeing the power of God demonstrated as we work to complete our mission “winning souls to the kingdom of God.”
