God wants to take you higher place and turn your mess into a message

This year has been one of my most eventful years. God has been doing so much in my life and I am learning day by day how to trust Him more and more. Undoubtedly this year has had some times of pain. Pain that no one could take away but God. I chose to hold on to God. I was determined and still are determined to see victory through holding on to Christ. I chose not to look back and let me past determine my future and I chose God above everything else.

When I look at where I was on January 1st, I see soooo much growth between Jan and July. God brought me from a place of no purpose to a place of greater purpose, He showed me that pain is for a purpose and the very pain that we go through He allows us to go through so that we can help others and be an inspiration to others.

Over the last seven months I have come to know God as a personal friend. I have realised that there is nothing better nor sweeter than spending quality time with the Holy Spirit; getting to know Him and what the Father wants from you. It has been an amazing journey. I have come to realise that we as God’s people need to get away from the noise and just be quiet with God so that He can teach us, lead us and mould us into what He has called us to be through the power of the Holy Spirit. This moulding gets us ready for the ministry which He has called us to lead or be part of while here on this earth. If we are caught up in the noise of everyday issues and happenings, how can we hear God’s voice telling us what steps we should take.

Your life is a purpose. You were not born just for nothing. You were born for a reason. God has great thoughts for you. He has plans for you and they are not to fail, they are plans to prosper and do great things for His glory. What will your answer be?

Like Ruth will you leave out everything and follow Christ in an unknown land, but by faith follow Him? Will you be like Moses and accept your calling to lead Israel? Will you be bold like Esther and go into the king and declare “if I perish, I perish”, but I am going? Or will you be like David and pursue God no matter what it takes even when the enemy is on to you?

It’s about being courageous and bold and the most of all, it’s about having FAITH IN GOD and trusting His word which says that in Him we lack nothing:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. (Psalm 23)
And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Immediately they left their nets and followed him. And going on from there he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. And he went throughout all Galilee, teaching in (Matthew 4:19-25)

The word of God also tells us that the order of worshipping God and living a life for Him involves first focusing on Him and once we do this, He will take care of everything else:

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:33-34)
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and  he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

When you turn over all to God, it’s about loving Him and giving your all to Him no matter the cost. With God there is only gain.

God has definitely taken me to a higher place and He wants you to see your past as a stepping stone for a greater future. He has not allowed you to go through what you have been through for just so. It’s a mess that He wants to turn into a message for His glory, so trust God. It’s all a about letting it all go and giving your all to Him.

Accept all your failures, hurts and disappointments and the victories through them will be a testimony to help others who are right now going through that very same thing!

Be blessed and Surrender all to Him!
