Life is Just Nothing Without GOD…

Think about it…
Where would we be if it had not been for God?

Where would we be if He had not sent His son to die for us?

Where would we be if He didn’t decide that we should be still living today?

Susan Quintyne’s song: “Christ is our Rock” starts with these words:

Who can we run to when the winds of life are blowing?

Who can we lean on in the storm?

Who’s our foundation?

On whom does our hope rest?

Who has been an anchor in our past?

Christ is indeed is our rock. Isn’t He your rock? He is surely mine…

Without a rock to stand on, especially in the rough times, we surely will fall. For the winds of life get so rough and the waves of this world would seek to take us over time and time again, but without the real ROCK, Jesus, we are no where. And that’s why I confess that Life is nothing without Him.

You may or may not be at a place to identify with what I am saying today, but I hope that these words would be of encouragement to you and help you to continue or see for the first time that LIFE IS NOTHING WITHOUT GOD!

There is so many different scriptures which confirm that Christ is indeed our rock. Let’s face the truth. He created us, He knows everything about us. He has plans for us and when we accept who God is our lives then we would understand that really and truly we can’t live and operate without like. Life is just nothing without Him in our lives.

Where would you be if it wasn’t for God? Isn’t He the one who created you? He is the One who knew us before we were born. He has plans for us and not just any plans, good plans.

First of all God created us – So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. (Genesis 1:27)

He sent His son to die for us – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.(Joh 3:16)

He knew us before we even were considered by our parents – Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jeremiah 1:5)

He has great plans for us – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11)

He saved us, we could not do it ourselves – Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us (Titus 3:5).

The Word of God confirms that He is the one that we can lean on when things get rough. He is God. He is awesome!

Where would we be if we didn’t have Him to call in in the storm? He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. (Psalm 107: 29)

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4: 39)

Think about it! Who is your true foundation?

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:11)

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (Psalm 18:2)

On whom does your hope rest?

Your hope should be resting in the Lord. If there is one that we can hope in and trust, that one would be God. The Word of God tells us that we serve a God who’s hope is sure.

Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; (Hebrews 6: 19)

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. (Psalm 33:18-19)

Who has been you anchor in the past?

If it wasn’t the Lord, here is a reason why in 2015 your mind should change?  Just look at Psalm 46:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Life is just nothing without GOD…

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5)
