When You Drink The Wine That Jesus Prepared…

My devotion this morning was from John 2, the famous miracle of Jesus turning water into wine.

When Jesus had done this spectacular thing these were the words of the ruler of the feast:

“When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom, And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now. This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.” ‭‭John‬ ‭2:9-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The ruler didn’t know that the wine he was tasting was miracle wine but he knew for sure that it was the best he had tasted so far for the event. The last time around, Jesus had done it. That’s what made the difference.

Lessons to Learn

  • Jesus prepares nothing but the best for us
  • We may have experienced things in our lives before, which we think were good for us. In the end they turned out bad, but when we allow Jesus to guide us, the results will be the best.

Let Jesus make your wine, for when you drink the wine that Jesus prepared, you simple drink the best.
