Teenage Girl Gives Bullied Boy Something He Really Needs

Kindness Blog

The neighborhood kids often play basketball outside the Kentucky home of 13-year-old Shaylynn.

Recently, the group got a hopeful new player named Richard — an 11-year-old boy with ripped up, tattered shoes.

Shaylnn watched from her window as Richard was ostracized. The second the kids noticed what he wore on his feet, they began teasing him. He was wearing a pair of his mothers’s eight-year-old Nike sneakers. They were coming apart at the seams. Fancy footwear, after all, is not something his family can afford.

“They said my shoes look raggedy and I shouldn’t be playing with them,” Richard told WHIO.

Understandably, the teasing broke his heart.

Richard took a seat on the grass by himself — and that’s when something incredible happened. Despite the fact Shaylynn didn’t know Richard and had never seen him before, she took a stand in the most unexpected way. Shaylynn’s mother noticed her walking out of her bedroom with a red…

Today’s Prophetic Word to Parents: Don’t Weaken Your Child’s Spirit

God wants to speak to parents today. Hear the word of the Lord and respond!

The Word of God states that:

Children are a gift from the Lordthey are a reward from him. (Psalm 127: 3 NLT)

With this reality in mind, God wants to speak  to the mothers and fathers out there. He wants you to remember that children are his gift. He created them. It doesn’t matter the circumstance in which they have been conceived, they are His gift and must be treated preciously, just as we treat our natural gifts.

The Lord seems to be concerned about the way we treat our  children. Today He is specifically speaking about embarrassing them in front of others. He is saying that when we do this we weaken our children’s spirits.

In all your ways, acknowledge Me

As christians one of our most humble cries is “God use me”. Let me reassure you that these words are like music to God’s ears because  God wants His glory to shine through you so that the world might know Him. He definitely wants to use you.

As I prayed these words, I heard the Holy Spirit respond and say “In all your ways, acknowledge Me…”

This words are taken from Proverbs 3:6. It says: In all thy ways acknowledge him, And he will direct thy paths.

Before this verse the scripture says: Trust in Jehovah with all thy heart, And lean not upon thine own understanding:
Proverbs 3:5

God wants us to put Him first in everything we do. Sometimes God gives us ideas and opportunities and because we don’t put things in His hands and ask Him for direction, we operate in self and everything gets out-of-hand.

Sometimes the devil put opportunities before us as well which are not in God’s plan for us. So we have to acknowledge and call upon God so He can direct us.

No matter what it is that you have planned or envision to do, God is saying, “Put it before Me first. Allow me to help you. Allow me to instruct you on whether you should or should not. That way, I am the one directing the ship and I will not lead your wrong“.

My desire is to be used by God and because He created me and knows my future, He is telling me to consult Him in everything I do. Today the same instruction is going out to you.

Put all your ways; all your plans before God and He will direct you. Once He is directing there will be no errors, nor accidents.

He does not want us to lean on our understanding because sometimes what we interpret is not what it really is and He wants us to see through His eyes.

My encouragement to you today: Whatever plans you have, put them before God. What you see and understand may be way off from what it is in God’s sight. So call on Him for His direction so that when you move you know it is directed by Him and Him alone.

Your soul is the seat of your emotions and sometimes we need a restoration or renewal of our emotions back to their godly state.

Just call upon the Lord today and He will restore your soul.

He wants you to rest in Him because He wants to place you to lie down in green pastures and He wants to lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). He wants you to be prosperous, successful and peaceful.

Yes the troubles of life have taken over and situations have oppresaed your soul in someway but now God wants to lift that weight and bring you peace.

God loves you soooo much and all He wants of you is to be more and more like Him and He is beginning with a reatoration of your emotions/soul back to a godly state.

Father, restore my soul, in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. AMEN

You have been battered, bruised and the ugliness of your pain is upon you, but God wants to beautify your soul today.
