WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT, BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. (Psalm 30:5)
The first five verses in Psalm 30 talk about the saving power of God. God is able to save us. There is no doubt about that. Just think about the many persons He saved in the Bible whether it was from sickness, prison or being killed. God is a saving God.
This morning there are some who are reading this and are going through weeping for some reason or the other, but the Holy Spirit wants to remind you right now of God’s saving power to bring you out of what ever you are going through. He is telling you this morning not to worry because God has your back and though you weep for a night; though you are sorrowful for a night season, joy is right around the corner in the morning. Remember nights are dark, but mornings are bright. So your season of brightness is right around the corner. Just trust God on this one. He will bring you out. We may not know how long your night season will be for, but we know for sure that brightness is about to come, so ensure, trust and believe in God.
Heavenly Father I thank You for Your saving power to deliver and set free. You have done it for many and You will do it again for me, my family, friends and colleagues. Father I thank You for life and though I may go through night seasons of weeping, I know that You are with me. Your rod and Your staff with continue to comfort me. Thank You for Your love and the joy and strength which You have right in front me in my morning season. In my night season I believe that You will teach me many things and give me strength so that when I enter my morning season, I can be a powerful testimony of strength to others. Give me Your strength to endure and hold on for my morning is right around the corner. I thank You for the joy which comes in the morning. I receive Your joy in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
